Class Description:
This year our class is a happy mix with 26 fifth grades. Even though they are all at diiferent levels, they are enthusiastic to learn and work together.

My Philosophy:
I believe that students learn by doing. We read to learn to read, we talk and do math together to learn how to do math and we write to learn to write. The walls are covered with bookshelves and books...they are the focus of the instruction but the focus of the classroom is the students.

About Me:
This is my sixth year teaching and the sixth year at the same elementary school...in the same grade. I absolutely love it - every day is a new learning experience for my students and myself.

UNLV - 2004 - BS Elementary Ed UNLV - 2009 - M.ed Curriculum & Instruction, Children's and Young Adult Literature.
