Class Description:
Typical fourth grade classroom with a wide range of abilities and socio economic levels. We are partivipating in a technology grant so my students do have access to 3 laptops in the classroom.
Position:
Teacher 4th Grade
Needs:
Many of my students come from lower incom families and do not have access to technology at home. We do have the 3 laptops for student use, but are lacking in peripherals and software. We need microphones, a scanner/.printer,flash drives for students to store their work, digital cameras, and any software that will help them utilize technology to gain mastery of fourth grade standards.
My Philosophy:
I know all students can learn, but at different rates. I also know that living in today's society, my students will need to be competent in their use of technology. they need to feel comfortable with using new technology. The best way for this to happen is to expose them to a wide variety of technology and its uses.
