I know that all students can learn. But it is my challenge as a teacher to create and facilitate engaging classroom experiences that will motivate and inspire every one of my students to do so. I believe that all students need to come away from school with more than just knowledge of the academic content, but also the reading, writing, and speaking skills they need to communicate and collaborate with others and solve problems independently. I have high expectations for all my students, and for myself as well: I will not be fully satisfied until all my students are A students.

Why Do I Teach?:
My passion for over five years has simply been to help the next generation in the field of education. For over five years I have held at least one role as a coordinator, consultant, tutor, or mentor in my neighborhood after-school program. I am also in my second full year of teaching. Despite all the hard work, it is the joy and the thrill of helping the kids of my city become smarter and better individuals that keeps me coming back to teach every weekday.
