Recorders. So many of my students can not afford recorders and I would love to be able to provide them with a recorder if that is the case.

About Me:
I am a first year music teacher and I learn something new every day. Most teachers will completely burn out during their first year of teaching and many will not return to teaching the following year. I can say I have felt burnt out on more than one occation, but at the same time I am always reengergized by my students and my commitment to their learning and development as a human being.
College and Degrees:
Southeastern University, Bachelor of Science in Music Education
Activities:
I also teach private piano and voice lessons after school. My studio consists of approximately 20 students.
Why Do I Teach?:
My school is a Title One School and many of my students are not given the same opportunities in their home life as many others. My goal as a teacher is to show love and compassion to my students, to teach them right from wrong, to be a positive role model to them and to provide them with the same Music Education they would receive if they would go to a private school. These students deserve so much and it is my goal to give them all of this and more!
