About Me:
Even though I was born in Lincoln, Nebraska, I think that my most formative childhood experiences took place spending every summer with my father--an archaeologist for the National Park Service. During these extended stays in some of the most beautiful territories of our great country, I learned the joy and wonder of the great outdoors, gained an appreciation for the pragmatism of applied science, and developed a love for the idea of exploring the world for the sake of increasing human knowledge.
