Wauchula Elementary School
Class Information:
Room Number: 114
Students per Class: 36
Class Description:
Due to our large farming and agricultural influence, many of our employment in farm labor is common place for the parents of our students so we have a large percentage of students who are Hispanic and come from migrant families.
Position:
teacher
Needs:
Following seasonal work, many of our students migrate based on the crop season so many of them do not have technology at home. We live in a digital world and these children are the digital age. In order to prepare them for the future career opportunities in a competitive world of work, they need to be engaged in as many technology opportunities as possible. I would love to be a 1-1 I-Pad classroom so that each and every student has that future competitive edge and opportunity in the workplace.
My Philosophy:
Education moves and changes as quickly as technology, so we need to stay with the movement of both to keep up the continual momentum moving forward, challenge our students, and prepare them for a competitive workplace.
