Class Description:
I teach art to all students K-8...seeing each group 2-3 times per week. I also teach computer class to K-4 students and see them 1-2 times per week. Classes are mixed abilities.
Position:
Teacher/Tech Coord.
Needs:
2 additional work stations are needed for our computer lab to allow all students in one class and 1 teacher to work simultaneously. Weneed external speakers of any kind to go along with and enhance InFocus presentations. Additionaldigital cameras would also allow for increased ability to add photography to our lessons and projects.
My Philosophy:
I believe technology is another tool with which students can express themselves and share information. Every child needs the opportunity ot explore and find the means be which they best communicate. Art and Technology provide opportunities whcih can transcend my classroom into real life situations.
