Class Description:
I teach 6-8 grade math and 8th grade CA and then a special class. I am trying to get the special class to be photography this year.
Position:

Needs:
We need 10 cameras and 1 printer with a scanner.
My Philosophy:
Make learning fun and interesting and kids can and will learn anything you put in front of them. I try to get away from the copy off the board notes and leave the room kind of teaching and go more for problem solving approaches and having students tell me how to solve problems instead of me telling them how to solve problems.

I am from a small farming community that holds family values high.
College and Degrees:
Undergrad was from MWSC. Post Grad was at NW. I have my masters in Special education and more than enough hours in math to have another masters, but chose to teach students and not to write another paper .
Activities:
I love playing with my 2 young boys and husband. Scrapbooking is my time away and one day I will ride my horses again.

Why Do I Teach?:
It is the best challenge for my mind and keeps me sharp. I also like to shape young minds into something other than mush.
