Class Description:
I teach English and reading to 70 6th grade students. My goal is to teach them to incorporate not only these two subjects together, but to also pull into visual learning and speaking. My children have had limited exposure to the outside world their whole lives, and I feel that it is my duty to teach them how the world is bigger than just their piece of it. I currently have one computer in the room that all of my students share, and I have 4 cameras in which they add visuals to their writing.

Anything Roald Dahl and Andrew Clements- It's nice to see kids come out the winner in the end. Judy Blume- because what you see is sometimes what you get. Shel Silverstein- what more would I possibly have to say.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I have a desire to educate the children and teach them so they have options and can make good choices when the times come.
