Adults from 15 countries, who are recent immigrants, come to learn English. They learn how to read, write, speak and auditory English.

We use a variety of texts. We need a digital camera to make texts big, for the visual impaired students, and allow for whole class participation,
My Philosophy:
All adults need help with literacy when it enhance their life-coping skills and improve their lives through basic education and language development so that they can attain their citizenship and be engaged citizens in their community.

Why Do I Teach?:
Adults need literacy skills to be able to do the many things that are required of them to be part of a community. Adults need to learn to read and write, and especially for language learners, need to be able to understand English.
