Class Description:
The class is in an inner city school that is very run down. Technology is lacking. My room has a couple of old donated computers that are not connected to internet. My class is almost evenly diviided between males and females. The children range in age from 8 - 10.

Needs:
We need a smart board and machine that reads pages from a book. We desperately need a new computer with a laser color printer.
My Philosophy:
Students in my inner city class should have the same benefits as students in suburban districts. With no money available from the district I feel I need to get equipment and people donated to improve my student's educational experience.

I have 37 years in education. I have always taught in inner city schools. I have 2 children (17 & 19 ) living at home
College and Degrees:
I have a MA in Reading from Eastern Michigan Univ.

I love to make crafts and use the computer
