My first grade class consists of 18 African-American students from inner-city homes. All but one student receives free lunch. The class likes to work on projects.

My Philosophy:
I belive that all of the students I teach can learn. Because I don't know what they may face in the future,I think that it is my job to meet them at the academic level that they are already on and do what ever it takes to teach them fluency in all subjects.
