Class Description:
I teach drama and dance to special education students with moderate to severe disabilities. The students access multiple intelligences when participating. Each lesson contains a very stuctured procedual flow with a kinestheic and vocal warm-up that prepares the students to work creativly. All lesson plans contain an englisn lanauage arts mini-lesson as well.

Needs:
Students with autism would benefit from specific technologies such as the pecs picture program. All students (particually those with lanauage disabilies) would benefit from any equiptment that can express creative concepts visually.

Former actor and teaching artist. Recieved National Actor's Theatre Grant in 1996. Member of Theatre West's Artistic Board 1999-2000. Married with one child.

Why Do I Teach?:
Teaching is a wholly creative art. I am so fortunate to be practice this art while serving students with special needs.
