Class Description:
My classes vary from junior high to College Algebra/Trigonometry. Each class learns using a variety of hands-on techniques and different technologies.

Needs:
For my classroom, I could definitely use graphing calculators, SMART Board technology, and other manipulatives. My students are very technology-oriented,and I am rarely able to work technology into my lessons because of limited availability.
My Philosophy:
I believe all students learn differently, so I try to incorporate many different teaching styles in my instruction to accomodate the different learners in my classroom.

About Me:
I am about to finish my second year teaching at Novinger Jr./Sr. High School. I teach a wide range of classes, from 7th grade general math to College Algebra and Trigonometry.

Employment History:
I have taught for two years at Novinger, and I was employed at Mark Twain High School in Center, MO for one year previously.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach to make a difference in the lives of children. I teach mathematics concepts, but I also teach the skills necessary for my students to become responsible, respectable citizens. I teach so that my students will set goals for their futures and help them work to attain them.
