All of my students have been diagnosed with Autism. Each is unique and amazing! I have 2 teacher assistants who are incredible!~ I¡¦m one lucky girl!

I REALLY need a device that would turn my plain whiteboard into an interactive one!!!
My Philosophy:
Each child is unique. Each one is special. Each one needs love, patience, and compassion everyday! The Autism spectrum is very complex and individualized to each child. Each student has different educational and emotional needs. We strive to meet their needs in excessļ! I learn from them just as they learn from me! I LOVE MY KIDS!!

About Me:
I am a 9 year teacher in special education. I have a M.Ed from Texas Tech (go Raiders!). I recently moved to VA from TX with my amazing husbands Air Force career, this is our last move before he retires. I have the most remarkable twin boys who are 9 -one of them is on the Autism spectrum so I like to think I bring a deeper compassion and understanding to my kids and their parents. I also have 2 black pugs that I adore :O)

tennis, shopping, and spending time with my family!!

I love auto-bios, a good romance novel, and anything related to Autism!
