Class Description:
I am a special education director and teacher at a small charter school in salt lake county, utah. I also teach Japanese and PE. My special education students are excited to learn and use technology daily. Students use I-touches with curriculum based video, pod-casts and interactive games, in order to support their learning within their classes.

We are in need of additional I-touches, laptops, computers, pojectors and software.
My Philosophy:
I believe the only way to educate today's student is to reach them on their level which in this case is through technology. We are past the days of teachers lecturing and students listening. We need to engage our students in learning. In order to accomplish this we need to teach teachers how to use technology.
