Class Description:
I teach a self-contained kindergarten class at a Title One School. I am also the ESOL (English Speaker of Other Languages) teacher. Due to the high free and reduced lunch rate and ESOL population many of my families do not have the resources to donate the funds I need to purchase a camera and equipment.

My Philosophy:
I have been teaching for sixteen years. My belief is that our children deserve people in their lives that will encourage them. I go to work everyday ready to encourage them to be and do their best. Many people say to me what a tough job I have. I don't have a tough job because I love what I do. I am lucky enough to know I have the best job for me.

About Me:
I am married and have two teenage children. I love to run in the morning before I start my day. To relax I enjoy boating and reading.
College and Degrees:
I have a BS in elementary education from USF. I am currently in the master's reading program at USF. I hope to graduate in May, 2009. I am a nationally board certified teacher in the area of early generalist.
