Class Description:
This year I am teaching Yearbook Production, Computer Art, Graphics Communications, Art & Communication Career Pathway, Beginning General Art, and Beginning Crafts. I teach a variety of art subjects to grades 7-12.
Position:
Fine Arts Teacher
Needs:
Our school is one with some of the highest low income statistics in the state. Our students have many needs, among which is the need for technology to help them learn and grow as effective users of this technology. Right now we are in need of document cameras, digital cameras, and Wacom Tablets would be a great help.
My Philosophy:
I strive to inspire each and every one of my students to do...not just good work, but great work. It is within every student to do this exceptional work and it is my job to help bring it out of them.

I've lived in Hawai'i for most of my life. Both my wife and I are teachers.

Why Do I Teach?:
I believe that art is a very important part of being a human being. As a student my art instructors in high school were less than motivating. I hope to instill a sense of appreciation and yearning for art in my students.
