I have a busy group of creative first graders!
Needs:
flip ultra camcorder
My Philosophy:
My students need to be engaged in learning! I do many projects in my classroom through projects I learned about on the internet. In one project we exchange classroom buddies with classrooms all over the USA throughout the year. I would love for the students to use the Flip ultra to record a memory video to send to the visiting buddies class. I also like to use the videos to teach first grade concepts. Oh what fun we could have!! We have also been involved in a Oreo stacking project, a pumpkin seed counting project, and we will soon be involved in a Holiday card exchange project. I can see using a Flip Ultra would add to our project in many ways. Students would need to use their speaking skills to 'report" on the project results as other students use the camera to record. Then at the end of the year these little clips could be included in our end of the year DVD.
