Class Description:
I currently teach students with special needs, from autism to learning disabilities, this includes some gifted students! As an inclusion teacher I go into regular education classes and assist not only my students, but any that my need help.
Position:
ESE Teacher
Needs:
Portable lab tops, printers, LCD players or anything that is more advanced. Low level hight interest reading materials, especially in the areas of social studies and science. My students need to have easy access to computers and software to help them learn how to use WORD, EXCEL, Powerpoint, how to do research, etc.
My Philosophy:
Learning and the love of learning is everything. I learn something everyday from my students and hopefully they can say the same. Students, all students, need to have access to today's technology if they are to have any chance to compete later in life. Technology can open up areas of interest to even the most reluctant learners. I want to help give them that chance.
