Class Description:
I have a diverse class of wonderfully talented students. The abilities of my students differ from extremely successful students to struggling students. It joys me to see that "lightbulb" effect take place and to encourage those who believe they are not capable of learning. I have mostly boys. Keeping up with their interest are tough, but challenging.

To keep up with the most updated technology. these days children enjoy and thrive in a classroom setting geered towards their interest. I would like to see my children using digital cameras, Palms, and MP3's as part of their instruction. My, their enthusiasm would soar.
My Philosophy:
That all children can learn!! Everyone can be successful. The key is making them BELIEVE!

About Me:
My husband and I love to travel, camp, fish, and enjoy life. We enjoy our grandchildren tremendously. I have been teaching for 15 years and have enjoyed every minute. Ofcourse, there have been many trials. I truly believe God called me into this profession.
College and Degrees:
I attended Northeast Lousiana University in Monroe and then transferred to McNeese Louisiana University. I graduduated in 1993 with a BA in Elem. ED. I am ceritified K-8. I am working on obtaining my Masters.
Activities:
I enjoy playing with my grandchildren. I also enjoy camping, fishing, traveling, and relaxing at home.
Favorite Books:
Children's Books? James and the Giant Peach, and Because of Winn Dixie. Adult? Anything interesting.
Why Do I Teach?:
I believe God called me to "Make a Difference" I love children!
