Franklin Elementary is located in cntral Bakersfield. The school has a small town feel as it is nestled in an establish neighborhood with lots of trees. The students come from various backgrounds and ethinicities.

Techology is a fast paced industry. Products become outdated rapidly. Since products are outdated so fast, school districts cannot keep up with the lastest technologies. Generous gifts such as yours make opportunities for so many children. Thank you for considering my application.

About Me:
I am married to a wonderful man for 31 years. I have a son that is a police officer. I am expecting my first grandson in November.
College and Degrees:
I attended local schools. I received an AA in general studies at Bakersfield Junior College, and then continued to California University of Bakersfield. I have a multple subject credital with a CLAD.
Activities:
My favorite things to do is anything with my family. I love to read, observe nature, and teach.
Favorite Books:
I love children books the best because they are so innocent. Because of Winn Dixie, by Kate DiCamillo, is a very fun book and a good example of innocense.
Favorite Quotes:
My mom told us often growing up, "When the going gets tough - the tough get going." I am sure those words came from another person, but in my mind they are my mom's words.
Interests:
I love God, family, country, and nature.
Employment History:
I am a jill of many trades- too numerous to list, but teaching is my passion.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach simply for the kids. My kid'os need a stable, consistant person to be their for them for the brief time I have them before I pass them on to the next passionate teacher.
