Needs:
I would like a digital camera to keep a photographic journal of the school year. At the end of the school year each child would receive a photo disc of their year of first grade. The children would have an opportunity to photograph events as they experience them. Journals would be kept to keep track of events.

I am married with two grown children.
College and Degrees:
I am a graduate of California State University, California, PA. I have a BS in Early Childhood/Elementary
Activities:
I support many charitable organizations. The W. Pa Chapter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Young Life are among my favorites.

Employment History:
I taught for 5 years in second grade. I stopped teaching to raise two wonderful children. I returned to teaching after 13 years. I have now taught an additional 17 years in first grade. I had the opportunity to work as an instructional coach for a year. I missed the children and working with parents so returned to the classroom.
Why Do I Teach?:
I love children and enjoy the opportunity to be creative in the preparation and execution of lessons. I love how education and technology are changing how classrooms are moving into the future.
