Why I need this:
As the Lead Teacher at my school, my classroom is a model for other teachers to see best teaching practices. Incorporating the LCD projector into many of my lessons will help both my students and my teachers become more aware of technological capabilities. I would love a LCD projector to help my students in a number of ways. First, I can show them how to edit and revise their writing using a Word Document. When students see me model the capabilities of word and editing on the screen they become more motivated to improve their writing. They also learn both computer skills and writing skills faster. Also, I have knowledge of educational internet programs and software students can use. Using the LCD projector I can teach the whole class at the same time. Finally the work that I do with my students, can be duplicated in other classes as teachers try the lessons that I teach in my class. |
