Class Description:
All Low functioning ASD students only one student partially using spoken language to communicate when prompted and willing. All functioning below grade 2 level with behaviors requiring a FBA/BIP.
Position:
ESE Teacher ASD H. S.Class
Needs:
Students are responding well to technology with "SMARBOARD" and ipad use in classroom. We only have 1 ipad and would like to have one for each student. Other tech equipment to enhance student learning.
My Philosophy:
To Create a safe and loving environment in which each student is given the opportunity and guidance to develop to their fullest potential across the four domains of curriculum, social/emotional,independent functioning and communication in order to maximize their quality of life and of those whose lives they touch.

Why Do I Teach?:
Love working with and helping ASD students, I have ASD nefew. Worked at a private special needs facility while in college which confirmed my decision.
