Class Description:
I teach a wonderful group of enthusiastic and thriving third graders that are thirsty for new ways to learn in our techno world.
Position:
Third Grade Teacher
Needs:
My class needs several items to catch up with the tech world. They have created their first pod cast with limited materials. They wrote the pod cast and recorded it using our classroom computer. We used Microsoft Movie Maker to make the pod cast. I had to do the editing because it is not third grader friendly with the time we have to create these learning experiences. I would like for them to have the kid friendly pod casting materials so that I can place the editing into their creative hands.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy is that teaching and learning should be fun. Too many times I've found myself asking how could I make this lesson better only to find that I do not have the technology to make it happen. I'm constantly striving to make my classroom a place where my students want to be and want to learn.
