Handheld Megaphone, $108.00, 0.00% raised
Handheld Megaphone
Single Unit Why I need this:
For marching band and outside parade events the entire band has grown past a point that I can safely use only my voice to be heard by all. This would allow everyone to clearly hear any instructions given and manuver the band on the field during practice.
Quantity: 1 Price: $108.00
Make your voice heard! The Handheld Megaphone uses the latest communication technologies that allow the entire crowd listen to your information.

East Carter High School
Hometown:
Logan, West Virginia
Class Information:
Room Number: 101A
Students per Class: 20
Class Description:
6th grade band; 7th grade band; 8th grade band; High School Band; Music Appreciation; Arts & Humanities: Music
Position:
Band Director
Needs:
Both schools are in need of basic percussion equipment such as marimba, vibraphone, chimes, tympani, marching percussion. Also working school owned instruments are in need so that students that come from poor socio-economic backgrounds can participate in band.
My Philosophy:
I think that band class gives all students a chance to participate in something and contribute no matter what level of a player they are. Also it allows students to form close friendships and have a support group throughout their school years.
Personal Information:

Favorite Books:
Lord of the Rings, Blue Highways and I Am America And So Can You!
Employment History:
Currently 4th year at East Carter High School and Middle School as the band director for both schools.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach music because I have no stronger passion in life and believe that every student should be exposed to the arts by doing them not by a classroom setting.
