My class is made up of suburban to rural students who have a wide range of technology expertise.

Needs:
I definitely need an interactive white board. My first 5 years of teaching was in a district that provided these types of boards in every classroom, and I used it everyday for student engagement and participation. My students now are at a serious disadvantage without one.
My Philosophy:
I believe that all students can learn, and as far as reading, students simply need to find what they are interested in to be successful at learning how to decifer more difficult text. Motivation is the key, and technology take some of the sting away from higher level texts.

I am 35 years old. My wife and I have been married for 15 years, and I have two wonderful children. I've been teaching and coaching for 6 years.
