My Philosophy:
It is my goal to prepare each of you for life. With that being said, this is an English class. We focus on English language arts. Students learn a variety of literary terms, writing techniques, grammar, and literary forms. It is my intent to foster a love for literature and writing within each student. Education is intimately tied to being a productive member of society. I know that many skills associated with being a productive member of society comes from family values. I work with parents toward the common goal of providing the tools needed for each student to have the best possible future.

About Me:
I am a retired U.S. Army sergeant. After being disabled due to combat injuries, I decided to go into education.
College and Degrees:
Oklahoma State University, Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education with an emphasis on English.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I believe in the future of our country. our students are poised to take on new challenges and change the world we live in. I believe that every child is deserving of an education and that education should come first.
