Class Description:
My class is a self contained classroom at Edmunds Middle School. I have created a classroom over the years where a sense of community is key. Students work together through a variety of activities. In addition, we have worked with the University of Vermont on many group activities.

Needs:
I am attempting to supply each of my students with a netbook computer so that we can truly integrate technology into our studies.
My Philosophy:
Teaching has changed. Years ago, teachers taught for the the test, now we need to teach for the future. Learning how to access, interpret, and use information will be the key to each student's success. My job as a teacher is to help students learn those skills to become an effective member in society.
