Class Description:
I teach a Life Skills class where we work teaching students basic skills they need to survive in life. For example; keeping a checkbook, writing checks,cooking, basic sewing, taking care of laundry, cleaning, making beds, etc.
Position:
Special Education Teacher
Needs:
anything that has to do with any type of life skills, we are starting up this program and need everything.
My Philosophy:
My philisophy is that every student wants to learn and that every student can learn. I also believe that college is not for every student, that some students want to work at entry level jobs and should be allowed to prepare for this choice.

About Me:
I have been teaching for 29 years. I have taught Special Education all those years and I still love my job.
College and Degrees:
I have a BS in Elementary Education 1-6, and Special Education k-12 from West Virginia University. I also have certification in Learning Disabilities, k-12
Employment History:
I have worked in the Nicholas County School system for the past 29 years.
