A 5th grade classroom that offers a diversity of students. My students have lived throughout the United States and some have lived over seas. I have several military children whose parents are overseas serving our country. I take pictures throughout the weeks to share with the parents on a secure website. The parents all enjoy seeing their children discover new and exciting things. Not to mention seeing their children grow while they are gone.
Position:
5th Grade Teacher
Needs:
I would love to have a more advanced camera for use in the classroom as well as to share pictures I take on my adventures that I can share with them through PowerPoint and virtual field trips.
I would also love to have a mounted LCD projector in my classroom. It is so frustrating using a borrowed LCD. I have wires running along the floor that the children forget and trip over.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love the ever changing ways of the classroom. You aren't working with the same activities everyday. I love going in and making my children smile. I love to hug and give the love the children miss out on. Some of their parents are over seas and need someone to talk to. I love being that someone. I love to watch them discover new things and figure out the ways of science and the puzzles of math.
