Delay Middle School
Class Information:
Room Number: p-19
Students per Class: 15-20
Class Description:
This is a annual class. It is the first time the sudents have had the oppurtunity to work on something that is tangable to the history of the school. One reason is 85% of our students are economically disadvantage, and or they just arrived here from Mexico or some other central american country. These students have a great desire to be successful and are really showing their progress. This past year our school had the second highest improvement jump in all of Texas (test scores), and we have set the next goals even higher.
Position:
Journalism/ History
Needs:
In our classroom we need the 8 full versions of photoshop, digital cameras, color printers and ink to fill them. Software to help show visually the lesson we are teaching, and bigger monitors for the computers. The fifteen inch screeens are very hard to see. Our goal is to make an award winning yearbook. We also need external hard dives to archive all the photos we take during the year.
