High school precalculus and algebra II, gifted education number theory and calculus II as well as college planning.
Position:
mathematics and gifted ed. instructor

Software to provide additional enrichment for mathematics and practice for college entrance testing.
My Philosophy:
I seek to ensure that gifted students at LHS are challenged appropriately, and to support their efforts to become lifelong, independent learners.
Personal Information:
About Me:
This is my ninth year as a secondary gifted education facilitator for the Leavenworth County Special Education Cooperative. While my husband was an Army officer, I taught in Junction City, Kansas; Bel Air, Maryland; and Petersburg, Virginia. I am a member of the Kansas Association for the Gifted, Talented, and Creative; the National Association for Gifted Children, the National Council of Teachers of English, the Mathematical Association of America, and the Kansas Association of Scholars' Bowl Coaches.
College and Degrees:
I earned my master's degree from the College of Education at Kansas State University in 1991 and continue to learn about gifted education, technology, and mathematics.
Activities:
I am the LHS Scholars' Bowl coach and the sponsor of Math Club, and Odyssey of the Mind.
