Class Description:
My class is made of a heterogenous group of fourth graders ranging in ability levels from exemplary to at risk.

Needs:
In an effort to challenge my students to take their writing and other class assignments to the next level, we need digital cameras, a scanner, and a printer for student use.
My Philosophy:
My philosophy is simple. All students can learn. Given the proper tools and academic atmosphere, every child can excel. I believe all students want to learn, however I understand that desire may be stronger for some. I make it my priority to challenge my students to seek out new knowledge.

About Me:
I have been teaching for 13 years in Georgetown County. I have a wonderful husband, Jason, and two awesome children, Sam (age 8) and Jase (age4).
College and Degrees:
I have my undergraduate degree in elementary education from Coastal Carolina University. I am currently working on my Master's degree in Technology in Education through Lesley University.
Favorite Books:
I love the Harry Potter series. I'm also a little old school, so I find myself still enjoying all of the wonderful Judy Blume books out there.

Employment History:
I taught for 11 years at McDonald Elementary School in Georgetown, South Carolina. I have spent the last two years at Waccamaw Intermediate School in Pawleys Island, South Carolina.

I teach for those "ah-ha" moments children have every day!
