Class Description:
I teach television production and broadcast journalism to 6th, 7th and 8th grade students.
Position:
Journalism/Media Arts Teacher
Needs:
Students could use digital recorders and camcorders for recording news stories in the classroom and in the field .
My Philosophy:
If I give the students the tools they will always rise to the high expectations and standards that have been set. If I give my students respect they in turn will respect me . I also try and teach that all of us make mistakes - we must move forward and learn from our mistakes.

About Me:
I grew up in Park Slope Broooklyn, New York and spent the summers in the Rockaways where I wound up lifeguarding through out college and I have continued lifeguarding each summer!!
College and Degrees:
BA Communications Arts with a concentrate in Broadcasting and an athletic coaching minor MA Communication Arts with distinction
Activities:
Putting together a monthly news show with my students. I like reading the daily newspapers, swimming and playing soccer.
