My Philosophy:
I believe in co-teaching which means that students with learning disabilities are integrated in the classroom with the general education population. This means these students need additional support to comprehend the subject being taught. I have high expectations for my students and feel they are capable of demonstrating comprehension of the subject being taught using supportive methods.

Initially taught in an elementary school before transferring to high school
Why Do I Teach?:
I love being able to influence young adults. I choose special education because I feel I have the ability to teach students using the methods they need to learn.
