Class Description:
Our classroom is one of 4 Kindergarten classrooms at Scott City Elementary. We have 8 boys and 9 girls in our room. We begin our day at 7:45 and we end at 2:27.
Position:
Kindergarten Teacher
Needs:
Our classroom is in need of many things in the technology department. We need computers for our learning centers, we need printers for our class books. We need a camera to make our scrap books. I would love to have a smart board in our classroom! Technology is the way of the future and I want my students to be as prepared as possible. I believe that with this equipment I can provide them with an EXCELLENT learning environment!

About Me:
This is my second year of teaching Kindergarten and I must say that I LOVE it!! I can't imagine being in any other profession, I was definitely meant to be a teacher.
College and Degrees:
I graduated from Southeast Missouri State University in May of 2006 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education and a minor in Mathematics.
Activities:
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to work in my flower garden and being outside in general. I don't have much extra time to read, but I do enjoy a good book occasionally!
Why Do I Teach?:
I love making a positive difference in the lives of my students. It is such a rewarding job. I honestly can't see myself doing anything else that could make me happier.
