Class Description:
I teach one class of at risk students and one class of regular academic students. My at risk class is a program called Fast Forward. These are students that have been retained at least one time during their school career. They are placed in eighth grade and taught a combined curriculum. If they pass everything, they are sent on to high school.

Needs:
We are currently in need of a SMART board and cameras to take advantage of the many types of lessons using technology. To teach our students to be lifelong learners, the use of technology on a daily basis is essential.
My Philosophy:
I believe that all students are capable of learning. Some students just need to be taught in a different way. We need to continually teach outside the box and encourage our students to think that way.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I truly believe that all students can learn. I teach middle school because of the how unique each child is. Every day is a new adventure.
