Class Description:
The art class size is typically 20 to 25 students from Pre-K to fifth grade. They are usually well behaved and excited about all of the projects, especially those projects introducing a new media or technology. Many students are from low income households. Most students do not have access to digital cameras and computer technology in their homes.

My Philosophy:
Students become excited about education when their imaginations are engaged. The students are often surprised at the connections between creative thinking in projects and their academic classes. They often comment that they are studying a concept or fact that we have incorporated into an art project. .
