This is a lively class of enthusiastic third graders, each of whom has unique gifts and challenges from learning disabilities to autism. We work hard together to build a sense of community and cooperation. Our goal is simple: we strive to learn and grow.
Position:
Third Grade Teacher, Team Leader
Needs:
My school does a fantastic job of providing the necessities for the education of my students. My parent community volunteers in the class and supports my instruction at home. However, many of the tools of 21st Century learners are unavailable to us due to sheer cost. I love to integrate technology into everything we do- after all, these are 21st Century children that excel in all that is computer-related,but I am limited in funds to buy such resources.
My Philosophy:
I share the philosophy of my district, which is to "Educate Every Child." I strive to take that a step further by loving every child for their unique talents, pushing them to achieve more than just the standards-based curriculum, and helping them grow into caring citizens.
