Title I School, 86% Low Social Economic Status, Hispanic, Black, White and Asian populations in that order. 7th Grade Science, General Topics in all areas of Science.
Position:
Math and Science Teacher - Bilingual
My Philosophy:
I follow the philosophy of Albert Einstein who stated, " I never teach my students. I provide opportunities to learn." Becoming life-long learners by seeing and seeking opportunities to learn is my goal for my students. I believe in their abilities, so I feel it is my purpose to provide a nurturing and purposeful environment for them to feel it is normal to fall just like in nature. I want them to feel confident that getting back up and taking the next step is all they need to do to accomplish anything they desire in their lives. The limitations they have are those they choose to put on themselves.
