Class Description:
I teach a biology class without a textbook. It is a technology infused classroom where the focus is on learning and doing projects, not book work.

My Philosophy:
I believe students should experience concepts and learn not sit and listen to me. That is not true learning. This is why I have no textbook and have information be presented and learned in a technology-infusedclassroom to increase interest by my students.

Employment History:
I have taught for the North Hills School District since 1997. Prior to that I worked briefly for an alternative school that served at-risk students.
Why Do I Teach?:
I enjoy working with kids. It is great to see them like biology through what we do in class. Technology is an integral component of my teaching.
