Class Information:
Room Number: 105
Students per Class: 20
Position:
Fifth Grade Teacher
Needs:
I am in need of updated technology in my classroom. I have one computer that is six years-old in my room. It would be a huge asset to have four computers in my classroom that students could use for research, and presentation projects. Digital cameras would also enhance various lessons I have planned throughout the year. Since I have so many visual learners digital cameras would be extremely helpful for many of my students to truly understand abstract math and science concepts.
My Philosophy:
I believe in creating a classroom environment focused on teamwork, community and learning. It is my goal to make sure all of my students feel invested in their classroom community. I work hard to provide a safe environment for my students to grow academically and socially. As a teacher it is my responsibility to give each child that enters my classroom the gift of an excellent educational experience.

Why Do I Teach?:
It's my passion. Teaching connects my vocation to the inner parts of me that make me tick. I also believe that every child in the United States deserves a good education. I want to be a part of the fight to narrow the achievement gap and strive for educational equality in our country. My students deserve the best.
