Our classroom is a low incidence (severe and profound, Autism, Cognitive Impairment) classroom. We are a self contained, instructional classroom. My students have a varying degree of needs and abilities. They are unique, vibrant, and loving children.

Needs:
Many of my students are nonverbal or slightly verbal. Students have difficulty expressing themselves at times. My students need a great deal of modeling and scaffolding.
My Philosophy:
I believe in an active approach to learning. My students do well with various modes of technology. They also do well with modeling and kinesthetic modes of learning.
