Class Description:
I teach general education for 4th graders, multiple subjects.
Position:
Classroom teacher
Needs:
We need more support around common core (language arts and math) curriculum. For example, content materials aligned to the common core. I want to support my colleagues in obtaining more devices. I also need a few more Chromebooks in order to have a complete class set and to accommodate any additional student fluctuations from year to year. I would also like to see students have increased access to internet and devices at home.
My Philosophy:
I believe in student engagement and motivation. If you cannot engage a child you can't teach them. This is one reason I am passionate about technology in the classroom.
