Class Description:
I teacher sixth grade students Pre-AP Earth Space Science, seventh grade Pre-AP Life Science, and eighth grade Pre-AP Physical and Forensics Science. Our school has very limited funding. Even though most of our students are intellectually capable they are all at risk because of the socio-econicomic situations of their families.
Position:
Pre-AP Science Teacher
Needs:
We could use many things in our classroom. Technology is very lacking area. We have three student computers, none of which have internet connections. Software on them is very limited. I also need just basic items that can be used for experiments.
My Philosophy:
My belief is that science is learned by doing. Students can only get so much from reading a book. All students should have the opportunity to experience science.

About Me:
I have worked in disadvantage schools since I have received my teaching degree. I believe that that is where I am needed most.
