Class Description:
Chemistry: This course is college preparatory for Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors. This course satisfies the a-g requirements for college/universitybound students. AP Chemistry: This course is college level and prepares students for the Advanced Placement Exam in May. Physical Science: This course meets the graduation requirement for the physical sciences at our high school. This class is typically taken by students as a graduation requirement in the physical sciences that have plans to attend a junior college or seek employment after high school.

Increase technology in the form of PASCO Xplorers and probeware for lab explorations as well as laptop computers
My Philosophy:
All students can succeed, and all students need as much math and science skills as possible for use in their adult lives and future careers for general and higher level problem solving purposes.

Why Do I Teach?:
My reasons for teaching include enabling students to strengthen their math and critical thinking skills, as well as sharing my love and appreciation for science to another generation. It's wonderful when students return to visit and they tell me to continue teaching the way I do because they used the skills they learned in my class in college and were very successful.
