Class Description:
We are a music magnet program that primarily consists of low income Hispanic students. We offer classes in concert band, orchestra, jazz band, color guard, percussion ensemble, and 4 levels of music theory.
Position:
Magnet Music Director
Needs:
We have no technology other than a projector that I hook up to my personal laptop. The students have no access to technology in our department. We have many projects and uses for iPads and computers if students were only given access to them.
My Philosophy:
All students, regardless of race, class, or economic status should have the same opportunites as other students.
