Class Description:
We are a choir class and a general music classes. We learn how to sing, read music, perform, and we study different composers.
Position:

Needs:
We could use more technology in our class. Often we use CDs for our music but if we had an IPOD we could have all our music in one place, stream video clips and Podcast concerts and lectures.
My Philosophy:
Music is all around, I want my students to be lifelong music lovers and have the equipment to create.

About Me:
An professionally trained opera singer who plays some piano and clarinet. I am married and grew up in El Paso.
College and Degrees:
Attended the Manhattan School of Music in New York. Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Arizona. Have a Master's of Music degree from the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music.
Activities:
I sing, perform, read, enjoy watching movies.and listening to music.
Favorite Books:
Pride and Prejudice, The Bible, Lies Women Believe, The Chosen, anything by Kristen Billerbeck, Redeeming Love, Love Comes Softly and Gone with the Wind.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love music and I love children.
